Baker’s big roach bonanza

Baker’s was never known for big fish but all that is changing. This season, in addition to a number of tench, the pond has been producing some beautiful rudd and some huge roach.

The first appeared last year and weighed 1lb 8ozs, since then fish of 1lb 10ozs, 1lb 14ozs and others possibly bigger but unweighed have been caught.
