The carp have arrived

At last the new little carp, destined for the Bridge Pond, have arrived. Approximately 500 of the little beauties were stocked into the Bridge on Thursday of this week. They came as an exchange for some of the larger fish which were removed earlier this year and should, once they’ve settled in, provide plenty of bites, before they in turn grow on to become bigger fish. Until they have settled in there will be a keepnet ban on the Pond.
