Volunteers from Ravenfield village came to lend a hand to clear scrub from the hillside behind the Bridge Pond. The project which is part of our woodland management plan aims to remove much of the alder and low lying scrub along the bankside to improve the habitat for birds, plants and insects whilst at the same time greatly improving the views from the footpath.

This was the first of what the Club hopes will be a number of cooperative projects to help manage and improve the park for wildlife and visitors alike.
